Instead of the subheading "Lincoln's newest performance car" should read "Lincoln's LAST performance car"

You're out of your mind with that statement.
I think he is right on this statement........the Lincoln LS could have been a performance car, yet it failed to build on the good atributes it had. If anything, the Lincoln is a 4 door sports car with decent power and capable handling.

On the other hand, the Mark VIII is a 2 door sports coupe (along the lines of a Thunderbird or Cougar) but with air suspension and DOHC. If anything, the Mark VIII has more than decent power and handles like a marshmellow.

Now, if you took the engine from the Mark and threw it in the LS or took the suspension from the LS and threw it in the Mark, you would have a performance machine.

Just my opinion......

Of course mark's are faster but I seriously doubt they can out-handle a sport LS.

I named it as I did because the Lincoln LS is suppose to be Lincolns latest performance model. Whether it is or not is debatable, but thats the intention

My apologies, I didn't read that part. Every car has it's good aspects. Never be biased.

just thought in light of the MKS debacle I'd take this opportunity to bump my own thread.
