when i was a youngester mid 50.s i used to go to junk yards that had trees growing up thru the cars. but this collection is unbeliveable. thanks for the link. jd
 
I watched a long video on Lee's collection. The man was a hoarder of everything automotive and motorcycle. He had 59,000 license plates. Just to give you an idea. Everything was so neatly placed, that you could spend 24hrs there and go 5 feet.
 
You look at some of this stuff in the videos in the back ground and there are display cases. This guy looked after this stuff in some way, how else could these guys just oil the bikes and gas them up and give them a once over and fire them? Damn, some of these things are 100 years,old and running.

I would love to go to the auction to see it live.
 
been going thru the auction results that was held in nov of 2011 they sold a playboy march of 53 issue for 8,625.00 a single magazine the first playboy published. tell me sex dosn't sell right. the total for the auction was 4+ million.
 
Thanks!! I did not get a chance to do anything cool this year because of the USAF but I was thinking about taking the "T" to Woodword next year.
 
That man was a genius, I realized the second time I watched hed it the box the guy is holding in the begining is LEE!!! Wow.... i would have paid to work on the project!!!!

If I can get a line on the guy again I might organize a Lincoln trip up to the place again next summer. It's only a 90 min drive from here.
