The LS's winter replacement

when you honk the horn, does it play dixie?

that truck came here to do two things, drink some beer and kick some a$$.

looks like where almost out of beer:shifty:

i'm with J, i wouldn't change sh!t or wash it either, just take it out and actually get some real dirt on it (and maybe a chunk of grass or two)

i hope you got a sweet a$$ trucker hat and a flanel sleeveless shirt to where while your crusing around looking for the perfect cows to tip :D

how many empty cans of skoal where under the seat when you picked it up?

This is a great post :D

The only thing stopping me from calling you a Redneck is the fact its NOT a Custom Deluxe:p

That thing is kick ass!

I wouldnt replace sh*t or wash it EVER!

Its missing the gun rack thougth:D

My shotgun should fit behind the seat

Haha, now I want to go watch Dazed and Confused. I must've watched that movie a thousand times when I was in like 8th/9th grade.

Oh yeah. New rule, you can only drink PBR or Old Style when working on the truck.

Where's the gun rack.... and is the bed full of beer cans? :D

Lol, nope there were a few busch light cans, and a Boone's Farm bottle (wtf?), along with one of the wheel well liners, and some miscellaneous auto parts in the bed.

thats my dream truck and im not even being sarcastic. i want a junker for the winter that i can beat on and just ram into snow piles with. also id like to park and just slam into both cars while i straighten myself out. what model chevy is that?

1985 Chev C10 Scottsdale. 350, 3 speed auto (I wanted standard transmission, but I figured "mid 80's chev 350 4wd" was already picky enough).

Of course 4wd, it has a body lift alread, and 33" tires. I haven't even looked to see what gears or anything yet. My brother in law drove it to his house, as that's where we are going to be fixing it. I haven't even rode in the damn thing yet.

Aww man, I'd have to say my ranger is way cooler than that :P Plus I still only have RWD!

Also, PUT IN STACKS!!!!

4V??????? As in 4Valve?? No, unless somehow an LT5 which was partially developed by Lotus is under the hood. Otherwise, its a pushrod motor, 16 valves.

No man. 4V is the disignation for 4 barrel carb or 2V for two barrel carb. Old school I guess. :D

Most likely 350 cid 4V?

The black one is a 79 chevy 4x4 that I used to use for mud racin. The list is gm perf parts 385 fastburn,3500 stall dacco torque converter, Trans go shift kit, 393's front and back, no lift just cut'em with a torch. She never failed to make podium except when I slapped second at 7500 rpms in 4 low [np207 twin stick case by the way] and threw part of the front driveshaft through the bellhousing. Good excuse for a built tranny, and she still got me back home from clinton mo to KCK, about 150 miles. She was my love for many years and now the motor has come out and its going in an old 89 s10. THE WIFES TRUCK! Fast girls are hot FTW!
