Well, I finally got rid or should say removed those hideous MHT rims.:yuck:

In their place is a set of Stern ST-8's. They are 18x8 with a 38mm offset. I've had the rims in the box for about two weeks and finally after work yesterday had the tires popped on. The tires are Diamond back 245-40-18's

I have the Eibach pro-kit sitting in the garage so that should get rid of some of the wheel gap.

The car is pretty dirty and the pics aren't that good, cheapy HP camera. I'm open to any comments.:D

The only thing i dont like is the aluminum on the center of the wheel. It would look better black imo. Its gonna look much better though when you get those springs on for sure though. Nice LS.

Will definitely set it off when lowered. I have never been a fan of the Black center, chrome lip look. I think it should be all black when going that route :D.

But nonetheless it is a tastefully done LS.

Very nicely done - both the wheels and the calipers!
What did you use for the calipers? High temp paint?

Thanks guys. I used VHT high temp paint. When I bought the car the calipers and the dust shields were painted that spray paint "chrome". Pretty ugly.

I agree that once it is lowered it will look better and if I had a choice I would have the center of the rim black also. Oh well.

Now, I don't want people fighting over who gets the old "chromie homies".:p

looks good. Im another to say paint that center cap.

What was the wheels that were on first, MHT's?

Yes, MHT luxury alloys.

The center cap for these rims is only about 2" in diameter, just big enough for the stern insignia. You can see in the close up. The rest of the silver center is bare metal with a clear coat cover I think. I really wouldn't know how to paint them to where the paint would stick, though I would be willing to try.

just ordered my wheels too..only mine are HD Wheels 19x8 so hope I get no sh*t over speed bumps :P

c'mon man, you can do it, i would just go with some black lacquer, you can get it at autozone, prep the surface with some 800 grit, just keep painting light coats with the black, wet sand with 1200 untill smooth, get some clear coat paint, and follow the same steps, then its just the rubbing compound some glaze or polish
