This sounds like the scenario the Dems support. Tell me where I'm wrong.

Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say, 'No! I like it here. It's better than my house. I've made all the beds and washed th e dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters(Democrats):
You are Required to let me stay in your house
You are Required to feed me
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan
You are Required to Educate my kids

You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family (my husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hard working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house and what a deal it is for me! I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold,uncaring, selfish, prejudiced , and bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE so you can communicate with me
 
Not to burst your bubble.... America was formed on immigration throughout its history.. Hey look I'm as conservative as the next guy but sometimes you just cant pick a side on these delicate issues... Sometimes you have to think on whats right or wrong.. And if you want to blame someone for pressing 1 for English blame the company's. Because believe me everyone tries to learn English the best way possible.. And hey sometimes it takes a generation to be as American as lets say yourself??
 
Listen my family and myself immigrated yes legally from Cuba 15 long years ago. And believe me we have contributed enough to this great country way more than these so called Americans who blame everything on immigration.. And stop saying illegal or legal " be honest with yourself " If you saw me walking down the street all you would think is I came on a banana boat and I'm taking your jobs and blah blah blah. Cant you see that duh everyone pays taxes and we help this great country be what it is today and no not just park our cars on the lawn if that was your next great joke.... Maybe your just an extremist.. So maybe your not as conservative as the next guy
 
I can tell you from my own experience. Many illegals do NOT pay their taxes. They put ficticious numbers of dependants down on their W-2s and get nearly nothing deducted.

Sorry - If you are here illegally, then it's illegal. Plain and simple.

Follow the rules, get the proper immigration documents, and I will welcome those immigrants with open arms.

I've said it before. The biggest problem with all the immigration plans I have seen is that the guy sneaking over the border faces no consequences except being sent back. That is the problem right there.

You don't know anything about me, so your attack on me personally by implying that I'm a bigot is uncalled-for, extreme, and faulty. You don't know what I think when I see a hispanic walking down the street. For your information, I spent several years in Albuquerque and I'm quite familiar with that demographic. I don't have to prove to the likes of you that I'm not a bigot. For you to throw out a nasty comment like that just shows how powerfully inadequate your debating skills are.

You are stereotyping me by assuming that because I don't want to see our economy collapse under the weight of illegals who are sucking us dry, I must hate or fear hispanics. That's a ludicrous, extremist statement, and it's Geraldo-esque. Maybe if you actually debated the issue instead of resorting to hateful, ad hominem attacks, you might learn something. Instead you only know how to attack someone personally. Pathetic.

What is the Immigration Policy leaving Cuba and entering the United States Legally?

I am familiar with the rules from say Mexico where you file for a "Visa" while in Mexico which allows you to travel to the United States and the processes of filing for Citizenship through the "Green Card etc.".
 
In Cuba they have a "lottery" for a passport and visa.. You can apply but it depends if your name comes out. There is no real papers you file. Of course if you on a boat thanks to Clinton's wet foot dry foot policy many things have changed. Either way a Cuban comes to America it is considered legal even if found in international waters by the U.S Coast Guard. Fossten I am not attacking you. I do not know you. That was just how people have reacted to me in lets say a more "white" place like Tallahassee, Florida. Or neighborhoods in Dade and Broward County Like West Palm Beach, Coral Gables... etc...etc... No not every "Native" True American if there even is one doesn't exactly treat you the same as the next. And seriously what difference does it make if Pablo the poor Mexican comes into this country illegally than lets say I dont know John smith from Canada??? Wouldn't you say how come no ones really focusing in on them??? Oh thats right because they speak French or English I don't know you tell me...

Why don't you answer your own question. Find out what percentage of illegal aliens in this country are Canadian. I suspect that it's very small in comparison, probably due to the fact that Canada isn't exactly a pisspoor nation like Mexico.

And Cubans have a special dispensation in American law - if they evade our boats, they are given legal status once they hit the beach. That's unique. So your countrymen are in a protected class already.

In Mexico to come legally to the US you have to receive your Visa from the US Embassy in Mexico.

Who handles the lottery in Cuba? If you don't file papers do they just give you a Visa?
 
So your telling me that in the past 1981-2000 13 Million Legal immigrants came from Mexico... Come on read closer

Well, here's the way I see it. We're going to lose the border states, including California. Washington won't care, and the real American citizens, mostly made up of whites, will vote with their feet and move north and east. Our economy will become very socialist because the illegals will vote for more social programs.

America is the greatest country in the World and for some reason you cant seem to understand that diversity is what made this country great. Instead of closing the border why doesn't America open it and check everyone that comes through... The ones that get declined idk man I'm tired of talking about this... Who cares work harder if you want to keep your jobs. And I wonder how many of those illegals in Minnesota are Canadian??

I would say a small number of "illegals" in Minnesota are from Canada. Originally being from Minnesota I would say there are more "illegal" Hispanics in Minnesota than Canadians. Reason being, Canada already has Socialized Medicine and the Hispanic Population comes from Mexico to Minnesota because of their Medical Coverage and to work in the fields.

At one point the influx wanted to "unionize" requiring all of their employers "farmers" to supply them with housing. The margins for farming are small enough as it is so rather than supplying housing they replaced the workers with chemical weed treatment.

I'll never ever set foot in New York. Ever. And I have no problem with Puerto Ricans, especially the women:) , as long as they're LEGAL. Your immature attempts at race baiting are getting old. Get this through your skull - I am not racist. I don't have a problem with immigrants. I have a problem with illegal aliens trying to cheat the system and thus slapping the legal immigrants in the face.

Diversity didn't make this country great. Freedom and a respect for the law, not disregard for the law, made this country great. We have laws regulating immigration, and you're openly advocating that they be violated, mostly to soothe an unnecessarily guilty conscience.

Opening the border and checking everyone - that's a complete oxymoron. We already check people, our system is backlogged. You want us to check millions of potential illegals, when we can't even track the ones already here? Please try to construct a rational argument.

And as far as the illegals in Minnesota, you aren't proving any points by asking the question. I challenge you to dig up the data yourself, and answer the question yourself. Then, if you choose, post the data if it backs up your position. Otherwise, I say your leading question is baloney.

I would have to strongly agree with your statement regarding our system being backlogged.

Try coming back across the border in early January. I have personally waited 10 Hours in line trying to get across from Neuvo Laredo Mexico to Laredo Texas!

I wonder when they droped the "EH" and started the Si Si Senor ? :confused:
I wonder how they been getting so darn tan up there ?
Maybe they are speaking french and I am just mixed up.

I keep saying this: Erecting fences and deporting people is a huge waste of time and resources. If you want to eliminate the influx of illegal aliens, you have the deal with the main reason they're coming here: JOBS. There are laws already in place to punish those who knowingly hire illegals. Why the hell aren't they being enforced? It's like setting a giant wedding cake in your back yard and then complaining about the ants. Duh!

Put those who knowingly hire illegals in jail, say for five years. Once employers realize that they can no longer exploit these people with immunity, the jobs will dry up, and America will no longer look as appealing.
