Terrible Snow Storm

Getting quite a bit of snow up here today. Since early this morning, the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling. The temperature is dropping way below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force. My girlfriend has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stares. If it gets much worse, I may have to let her in.

Its just been cold here no snow unlike last year. we actually had 13" of snow in 24 hours. We broke records and made history with snowfall in texas last year.

I had just came home on r&r and it was sunny and 40 degrees. a couple days later it happened out of nowhere.
 
I remember that, it happend on NBA all star weekend. I hated all that damn snow.
 
Yea, we got a lot too.. I was coming up a hill and the Danger Ranger wouldn't make.. I had to put her in 4wd.. lol

Then it was 4wd drifts for the rest of the day.. :D

LOL Isn't 4 wd great !

While were on the subject of snow, what's up with people who plow their driveway and leave a huge mound of ice and snow in the middle of the road ? It can't be that hard to push it another 4 or 5 ft. If you live on a back country road or have a long driveway please be considerate to people who have to drive a car. Especially if you know you live on a narrow road .

Actually, in my neck of the woods, it's illegal to push snow into the road like that.
 
Really ?! Well , I'm happy I posted about it. I didn't even think of it being illegal just how I'd like to rip whoever plowed there a new one ! I'm going to call about them. Its the third time this year infront of the same house ! I can usually slide by but this time it was huge ! Probobly threw my wheels off balance. Well , it might have if I wasn't driving 2 mph over it.
 
Lots of snow here's a pic of my table snowed in next to a lowley civic ...I almost feel bad for my neighbors but they were to lazy to come out when j flagged down a bobcat to help me out

We didn't get hit that hard.. Just enough to play.. :D

And it's good all the time I was on break then I come back (we go outside every day), and the damn thing blizzards every flippen day.. It's cold up there with the wind and snow..

You poor things. Looks like your gonna have to go dig out the gloves, hats and Parkas. :mad: :)

I actually felt the seat heat come on last week driving home from work. It came as a bit of a shock.....

A RAINCOAT????? How have You managed to stay as north as long as you have. What with the TORRENTIAL rains you guys have been having!!!!

Got around 21 inches here in CT, enough for me to crash my Jeep snow drifting :( Oh well, whats the sense of having a winter beater to not wreck the piss out of it.
