has anyone stripped a painted 10 spoke and polished it? i don't see why it wouldn't work. i have chrome now in good shape but this may be another option as the painted ones look terrible

well. the painted 10-spokes look good on the mark Viii, but only on certain colors.

why not get them re-chromed? if you stiped them and polished them they wouldnt be as protected as chrome plated rims... but if you can id love to know because i have painted 10-spokes but want chrome ones.

A WHOLE lot of work. Definately not worth having it done professionally. It would be over $200 per wheel.

i have access to a shop with all the polishing equipment. i can clear ceramic coat them after. polished is better than chrome it never peels.

I've done it to a set of Mustang rims (they were silver painted too.) 50+ hours of polishing wasn't fun ;)
