was driving and the temp got pretty low tonight, like around the upper 30's that's when I noticed my temp gauge read lower then the normal mark. So I pulled over shut the car down, and noticed that the hand on the gauge sat just barely above the Cold mark, I then tapped on the plastic face and the hand jump down when I started the car it was set at the normal hash mark. Has anyone else had this glitch. And what can I do to correct it, besides replacing the cluster.

Had this glitch/problems a couple times before, though i never tapped on the cluster and saw the needle drop. It usually falls below the last white line when the key is put into the ignition. Otherwise it just floats ontop the last mark until the key is put in. I also see it happen on the gas gauge also. I wouldn't worry about it much as long as you're not getting any overheats or anything of that sort.

My park avenue did it all the time, but it had something to due with the retained power, and the fact the gauge was magnetic, it's not a problem just a nuisance, in my honest opinion.

Thanks for the response thought I was the only one who noticed this or was having this glitch.
