Tapping sound from intake manifold?

I have been having a issue with this damn tapping sound coming from under the TB and manifold area. Anyone know what it might be? I had it in for service and they said they cant duplicate it but it don't need to be, the noise is constant(*schmucks). The damn thing sounds like a old beat Volvo Wagon just not as loud. My oil was just changed, my fuel was just flushed, basically I am up to date with almost all of my maintenance.

Take a long screw driver or something of the sort and put it on the intake manifold in various places, while having the other end near your ear. It's a cheap mechanic's stethoscope that can help you pin-point the location.

If I had to guess, it's the injectors, which normally make noise.

Wow you are actually being nice to me? I hope this don't ruin your reputation....J/K!

Ill give it a try, I am pretty sure its not the injectors cause I had them looked at a bunch of times with the coil issues. But at any, Ill give your advice a try and see what I come across.

it might be your mechanical bucket tappets between your cams and valve springs. i just fished two more out of my v6 saturday. dont know what happened but they were :q:q:q:qed. was ticking pretty bad, ran fine. pull a valve cover and take a look.

Well, I take a look at that. I am so glad this warranty is up cause now I can read all about fixing this damn car and do it on my own with out the wife flipping on me nagging *" your gunna fuq up the warranty"*. The car does run fine its just annoying and don't seem right.
