Ok guys just like the title says. Is it possible to take out the front drivers and passenger seat belts to clean them? It seems that the person who had my car was some sort of mechanic and both belts are black instead of ivory. I want to take them out to clean them. I was looking at the mechanism and it seem like I have to take out the back seat...am I correct? does anyone know how to do this? Let me know. BTW i tried using the search button and it hasnt been covered before.

you have to take out the back seat, and both rear panels to get to the front seat belts, they are bolted to the quarter panel behind the rear panels. sounds hard but its really not.

I washed mine with dawn and hot water using a bucket set up on a little plastic table right by the belts, but outside the car. Just soak as much of the belt in the bucket as possible and use a towel or brush to scrub them. They will come out looking like new.
