im looking at the sylvania zxe bulbs for my 2006 lincoln lse. wanting to stay within stock wattages. wanting the hid look without having to modify my lens and stick with halogen bulbs. is there any others that someone could suggest other than these? thanks.

silverstars are a great halogen bulb, that being said it is not an hid light system and will not be as bright. silverstars are a great upgrade from stock bulbs as they give a brighter, whiter light.


now the downside, the blue bulbs suck if its rainy or foggy, it seems like the light gets absorbed easier.

i have some in my focus and like the look but it has its dis-advantages.

Why not just get an aftermarket set of hid's? A lot of us run a set from ddm tuning and there only about $50, cheaper than them sliverstars you want and much better light. I didn't need to modify anything for them to work, 2006 lights different? Everything you need comes with it, and if you don't aim them like a fool they wont glare at other drivers bad.
