I was told by a shop that my car needs new sway bar bushings and links.

Checked dealer and they said bushings only come with the whole bar, and they do have the links.

Checked Autozone and found this: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/pa...oxl1?counter=0&itemIdentifier=926734_0_0_2940

Says repair kit. Is this the links? the bushings? Both? neither?

Looking for the best deal, but I will go to the dealer if that's the only place to get the bushings. They quoted me just over $200 for the bar.

The updated bar from Ford has the bushings bonded to the bar, necessitating replacing the whole bar as a unit.

Ok, that makes sense.

Well I dont want to buy the whole bar if I dont have to(considering I just put $1500 into the transmission last week...when it rains it pours :yuck: )

Is this what I need?

The bushings are sold as a pair. I'm assuming it's one for each side and not 2 for each side, correct?

Take it your didnt read anything I linked, lol.. and no those toe links won't work that you posted.

sorry...... I'm not doing the work myself, so I just skimmed through the bushings thread. Guy I found to do the work seems to know his stuff.
I just need to make sure I have the right parts.

Rock Auto parts seems to have great prices. I'll probably order from there.
But just curious... why wont the links I posted work? Wrong ones?
What about the bushings?

I want to make sure I have all the right parts so the jobs gets done the first time.

Poly will improve handling and if they are lubed every once in a while they should last very well! And they're only about $20.00

errr.... Auction 110674293403 references a bunch of old Dodge's. Probably won't work on an LS.

For front end parts, I'd recommend Moog sourced from Rock Auto. For rear end toe links, either Maxx at Chapman Ford or the Deeza links from Rock Auto.
