Finally got the sway bar bushings installed, and of course right in the middle of working on the car, they issue a tornado warning for the county south of me :)

pouring down rain, pitch black out, finally got the car done...

And the best thing yet?

No more clunking...

now I just need brakes!

I plan on doing this next weekend, I ordered 2 bosch o2 sensors so ima get at them around the same time, how long did it take to do the bushings?

about 4 hours with the hour rain delay and the drinking.

so maybe a 3 hour job if you do it all together.

I was able to get to them without removing anything (except for the plastic undercarriage components.)

just make sure you get a universal joint and a ratcheting wrench saves some time as well.

I might do the R1 concepts package for the brakes (front and rear for around 200)... Does anyone have this setup on their LS?

Correction, I had to remove the fan shroud and lift the radiator/fan shroud assembly up about 2 inches.

You can do that or you can loosen the three bolts for the DDCV and lift it up enough to get to the bolt. I agree with the universal, we used like 2 feet of extensions with one.

Question. did my bushings about 2 years ago with the poly bushings. I'm now noticing a return of the clunking over some bumps. It's mild, but increasing over the last few weeks, especialy on the passenger side. anyone else had the clunk return?

I have the R1 package. Rotors are sweet. Pads were sh!t. I'm switching to Hawks

Have you been lubricating? Polys need the lube..

Havent lubed, but I thought the lube was related to reducing creaking/squeaking that Poly is known for..not the knocking Im hearing again.
