what dose everybody use for rear sway bar bushings and sway bar links/bushings (for the stock size), go to the part stores nothing on the computer matches. is there a "universal" type i could use, preferably something that i can pick up at the store and not order online.

I put on a 95 Thunderbird SC sway bar (solid metal where the Mark VIII is hollow) and just used the bushings already on it. They were pretty good but I had to replace the end links.

Not exactly what you asked but for $30 or so, the TBird SC sway bar is gold...and if you're going to do the bushings, might as well do the sway bar.

found some Energy Suspension sway bar links, according to the package you are to measure the length between the bushings. I measured and there is a difference of 3/16 of an inch between the stock and the new ones, is this going to make a big difference
