a 12 year old car hardly driven would mean buy it and hardly drive it, unless you want the air ride and all the fluids to start leaking. low mile cars like that dont spark my interest ever, because its worse for a 12 year old car to sit its whole life, than it is for a 12 year old car with 100k miles. it does no good for a car to sit.

My car was a low mileage car that sat mostly the last 10 years before i bought it.... No leaks or air suspension problems to speak off... infact no problems at all.

gaskets are not make of cork anymore the rubbers used are a lot better quality
i would not even think about not getting it if I was in the market
