Could any one guide me to some information about the installation of a super charger (centrifugal) yes I know I tried the search thing but the results were rather vague

They were vauge because installing a supercharger on our cars isn't that easy or cheap... and as a result not many people have done it.

If you have a Gen 1 count on getting a much bigger hood. If you have a Gen 2 plan on getting a bigger hood. I think certain ones fit with the factory hood, but I forget.....

It is a lot of work. I think even the radiator has to be moved, etc. There is A LOT to it and a lot of time putting it on right. In the end though :D

that's the deal breaker. i thought it would be a bit of a chore but that sounds way to ambitious thanks

procharger all the way. the plumbing on the 97 is going alot easier then everyone made it sound. its not really hard its more time consuming and attention to measurments is key. don't rush on it. and mine is going to fit with the stock hood

For a centrifugal? I don't see why that is necessary. Even a roots/twin screw should fit under a stock Gen2 hood.

They do. Gen 2s do not require hood modifications on either roots or centrificugal style superchargers. Gen 1's you need a cowl hood to run either though.
