Ok so it's seems like it might have fallen off the track or the track broke. The driverside of it is tweaked higher, in the up position and when I want it to go back it jams. I'll take some pics and get them posted soon to show what I'm talking about. But any suggestions until then appreciated.

If its a stock sunroof on a Gen 1 the pullers and pushers are a threaded cable that goes on each side of the motor gear, it may have skipped a thread if unbalanced on the push or the pull. If you can get it open (you may have to have help guiding the one side down so it goes back) you can also drop the motor and operated it by vice grips. There are probably 6 screws that hold each side down, on each side there is a movable piece that triggers the lift, if you can get it open check that one of the sides did not come loose. I have pulled the whole darn thing and reset my cables, and once even gave up and bought a used one from someone on hear and changed the whole thing. Good luck and PM me if you have any questions I may be able to answer.

Timing is off ..the motor has slipped down becuse the screws have become loose- do a searcha there is thread on how to set the timing on the roof mech for Gen2.. pretty easy fix.
