has any one got them? if so how much did they cost? where did yuo get them?

i dont think anybody has this done, and i dont think it is possible to do it... its probably is possible but would look stupid or the support wouldnt hold for very long..
 
for some reason I thought I saw one with lambo doors in the front and sui in the back
 
There are acouple around check cardomain.com....I have been pricing this mod for a couple years but the best price I found is around 2500.00 that is with relocating the door handles to the center and paint and fabrication. I am just kinda waiting for the right timing to spend that kinda cash. Business is slow this time of year. :(
 
If ur going to do suicide/lambo you definitely want to shave the door handles and get the touch sensitive ones. There are a couple on cardomain.com. I think it looks sick.
 
It doesn't seem very practical, seeing as how the LS doesn't exactly have a roomy backseat... getting into the car would be very awkward.

Who suicides their doors for convenience? It's for show.

Yea, Cardomain has all of the crazy modded cars, the mods on our site are not that crazy except for the SUPERCHARGER, can't wait for that thing. But, my wallet can. I heard an f'n neon charging down the road with its turbo today. POS. Its prob faster than the LS8, too.

I like the shaved look but with keeping the lincoln look from the mid 60's I like both door handles next to each other....I do agree about the functionablity(if thats even a word) the back seat is kinda a waste but for me I think it'd actually be easier entering and exiting the back with the doors open to a 90 degree.
 
theres a guy here in stl that has lambo fronts and suicide rears, it looks real good, i was gonna do it but they wanted 2500. the problem with the ls is the rear fender is part of the door so they have to do alot of modding to it.
 
the only door mods on cardomain are lambo doors.. i am one of them and i can tell u the other 4 cars that have it.. as far as suicide doors? my friend is tryin to do it on his lincoln.. the only problem will be the door mechanism because of the mold on the rear doors.. i have tried doing it, but i refuse to paint my car.. more than likely will try to do it after i redo the front end to a 2006 LSE front.. i got mechanism's for sale, the mission will be the install.. do u want to relocate the handle or use pop locks(which sometimes go bad)... its on u
 
how much for the kit? I am going to relocat the handles
 
depends.. wingdoors is coming out with a new kit for 500.. the most popular one out is autoloc..

the kit goes anywhere from 500-700.. depends on what u do...

wingdoors is known for lambo style doors.. (like mine).. i would recommend autoloc mainly cause they been around longer and have had more experience with suicide mechanisms.. i think if ur going to relocate u can get the cheaper package cause you dont want the pop locks or anything along those lines.. good luck cutting into the quarter panel!! it's the only way u will be able to get the door mechanism on the back..


ur gonna have to swap door handles.. cut into the body of the door.. cut into the 1/4 panel.. and repaint.. that doesnt include all the welding.. i'm still contemplating.. has anyone seen a lambo WITH suicides?

can i get some votes?

so next for me is the mids and highs.. redo the front end and suicide the doors.. maybe more TVs.. w/e..


i finally got the door lock actuator and new fog lamp so my car will be drivable once again.. :)
 
you're gonna go ahead with the 2006 front end swap? let me know how that goes because that should be a pretty cool mod... you should take alot of pics and make a write up as you're going thru with it :D
 
i would love to.. someone asked me to do that with the door lock actuator.. but i got a new laptop and i lost the CD for my digital cam.. is there anywhere online I can get the program for my camera without having to get the program.. as we speak.. i can take pics. but i cant upload them without the kodak program that the camera came with..

Yeah you should be able to go to the manufacture's website and download a new driver. I've done this with my scanner. You may have to look for it but I'm pretty sure they should have them online.
 
yeah go to google and type the name of the product then drivers. you should find it
 
i figured out this morning that my printer has the socket to insert the camera memory card so I will do that.. i'll drop pics on the door lock actuator fix and i'll drop pics of the 06 LSE front swap when i do it.. depends on the price for parts.. if i can get the bumper painted already it would be great but im not holding my breathe..
 
I love suicide doors and if done properly can work on any car. I think it would be cool to have on an LS . . . Lincolns use to come with suicde drs back in the day. Could be a nice old to new school kinda look. I haven't seen it yet but if anyone has it I would be intersted in seeing some photos!
 
Rolls Royce Phantom is one of my fav cars ever and that has the sweetest sui doors. check this out
