Suggestions on Wheels

Hey guys I decided to ditch the MOZ and Asanti possibilities I was going for in my past thread because I feel spending up to 6k on rims is rediculous.

I'm trying to hit a budget of under 3k (for all 4 wheels) for forged rims in 19x8.5


I'd appreciate any suggestions. I would like a black mesh (or color match) face and a chrome or satin lip.....here's so wheels I was ORIGINALLY looking at but would appreciate any suggestions that would meet my budget for wheels.


Here's what i was originally going for so if anyone know of any similar brands or wheels I'd greatly appreciate it....

Not to try an rain on your parade but why not get wheels that YOU like, your the one buying them. I never really understood when someone asked what they should get, who cares as long as you like them. Nothing against you, it's just I think everyone needs to stop worrying about what others think, just my .02 though. Good luck either way

A guy on another site I frequent is part owner of True Forged Wheels. He can pretty much make wheels to your specifications, from what I understand. Here's a link to his site, where you can see which styles he offers. If you give him your requirements, he can probably make them. If you're interested, let me know and I'll tell him I referred you. If anything, he may give you a little better deal than if you weren't referred.

That's why I recommended the guy from whom I got the O.Z. Racing wheels. Tirerack has them for $416 each and I paid ~$1300 for the wheels and tires. That is ~$325 per wheel/tire combo.

the easiest way i found wheels was to go to a store that has a bunch of catalogs of wheels and look through them and write them down and then go home and see if u can find them cheaper. That way you dont have to keep searching the net and not come across anything useful.

Yeah I've been watching Ebay and Craigslist. I checked out some Zenetti 19" chromes with Pilot Sports yesterday. Guy dropped the price to $400 and the rims were $500 apiece new. I ended up passing because the chrome was starting to flake off pretty bad.

Have you thought about looking at rims with removable inserts? This way you can have the black inserts or red or whatever color you want on the rim, or you could remove the inserts and go with an all chrome rim. This way you can change up your look if you get bored with one style. And do you want forged rims or 3 piece rims? The moz and asanti are 3 piece wheels and thats why they are so expensive. Look at rims like Verde, Zennetti, or Giovani. Those are just a few of some really nice brands. They all have forged rims in their selection.

Ehhh, once you see a " tell me what I should buy for my car so its to your preference and meets your level of acceptance " type of thread you seen em all.
