Although porn is fun, hee hee, i come to this site not for that but to learn about my car and help others. My 10 year old daughter happened to read a few lines of this bull S< H< I< T. Moderators please do something
 
There is an easy way around that and it can be fixed so it does not happen...On another forum we have not had any problems with stuff like that, have even cut down on the false registrations....

He may be trying to obtain personal info ( once a online scamer always a online scamer ), or its just malicious attempts to crash some of our PC's for bashing him.


Either way, it is kind of funny that that many people wanted to see nude Dragon Ball Z characters here on LVC:confused:

Nah, I think its just a shadow, but it does look like an extra finger.

M-Bones sounds too much like Them Bones.

Not as easy as you might think. They get around almost everything. I just added more security. Lets see how long it takes them to get around.

Not trying to argue with you, but a new registrant usergroup that would not be allowed to make new posts in any forum can be done. I have it set up on other forums that new users cannot make new posts until they contribute in some way, like replying to other peoples posts. Once they reach 10 posts they are promoted to a different usergroup that allows the new posts. This keeps the new spam posts down to a minimum.

BTW, thanks for editing Brake GB the post for me.

That is fine...I was just stating that there are ways to help prevent it is all. He can obviously run the site any way he chooses. It all good. At least this site is active unlike all the other Lincoln sites out there.

I go to other forums for my other interests and people are like zombies. You cant do a damn thing without having your balls busted. Lots of other members are in the same boat and come here to have some fun.

There are many reasons that affect my decision do install something or not. I am well aware of what "can" be done. Whether I choose to do it or not depends on many factors. Too many to explain everytime something is "possible".

I did add a few things to beef up security though. It means alot more work for our moderators, but should prevent most if not all spam from reaching the public forums.
 
Lets not forget the most important part is that you want to keep this site 100% free!!!;)
