Stupid Regulator.

Changed my driver's front regulator yesterday. They changed the design slightly on me. F*ckers. The BOLT that held in my old motor changed to a STUD, leaving me with a bolt that I can't use, and no nut for the threaded stud.

Luckily, there was one nut I could use for it, but left me missing one on another area. This is the nut I borrowed, circled in red:

Oh, and since I had it taken apart anyways, I threw a sheet of SEcond Skin Damplifier Pro on the panel.

Anyways, glad to have my window operating again.

Next? Getting rid of the 3-2 SRS light...

My regulator just crapped out on me yesterday. I was so pissed lol. Only after 2 years, my regulator (from rockauto) calbe got tangled up somehow in the reel where the motor is. Tried to save it but couldn't

Where'd you get your regulator Pektel?

My friend is a big walleye fisherman. Yes I am sure we will go walleye fishing. I used to fish a lot when I was younger. I have not been up north for a long time so I am looking forward to the weekend. I am going to have to visit the Gosh Damn Place.

As far as regulators go they are the cheapest things ever in the LS. My rear regulators went out 2 years ago a month apart from each other and I rarely lower those windows. I cannot believe neither of the front have caused any issues yet.

Just bought mine (from rockauto again, just Dorman this time) $63 (low on dough, had to get a friggin upper control arm uz I can't find just the ball joint)
