Stupid Question - Supporting Engine by Alternator mounts

I've read, perhaps wrongly, that the best way to support this engine from the front is by the alternator mounting holes. Is this correct? If so, do you just go ahead and chain up to the stock alternator bolts that thread in there? Are they really strong enough to do that?

I like this. Nice

But yes, the lower Alt bolts will support the motor with a cross brace from fender to fender. Just get 2 chains, put bolt thru the end chain links and run bolts all the way in. Less chance of bending them that way
 
I use the alternator mounting holes. Like it was said, make sure the bolts are completely tightened against the chain to prevent sideways strain on the bolt/mounting holes.
