Well,
Today I got around to installing my $50 pullapart ABS pump. Went in pretty straight forward, but for anyone who has never R/R'd an ABS pump in a Mark, its not very fun. Cleaned the old pump up, even gave it a quick coat of paint and installed it. Good news is the pump works, bad news is that after I completely reassembled the car the pump started leaking.
Pull the entire thing back out, find out that the gasket/seal between the ABS motor and valve body is leaking. So I took the 2 pumps apart and put the gasket in from the old pump and put it all back in the car. This time I didnt completely put the car back together until the brakes were bled and it didnt leak. Well I got lucky the second time, cuz now the car is working great.
Its nice to have TC again and ABS.
