I got an '01 LS Sport a week ago. I've replaced all of the COP's. Now it's overheating. Tried to prime the spot where it requires a 10mm hex to pour coolant in; it's now leaking. Was there an O-ring there, or what do I need to do? Thanks in advance for any correspondence.

Degas bottle I'm assuming? Replace it. Search this forum too, there's gotta be like 2 threads just on the first page involving your issue.

The plastic housing probably cracked.

That's what it is? Thanks. No crack. I'm hoping that I can just replace the cap, but steam is pouring out like no other.

I'm sure you'll be the one exception ever where those plastic parts didn't get brittle and start cracking. Everybody else has had to replace the cap and the thermostat housing. Fortunately, the gen I plastic parts can be replaced with metal Jaguar parts at a reasonable cost.

I'm know longer the one exception. The damn thing just cracked at the top. Do I look for an '01 S-Type to replace it with.
