tried the pc cleaner, even a standard air compressor, but there is still the grinding of sand down inside(exterior side of glass). How do i get the seal off the outside so i can clean down underneath it?

Thanks in Advance-

Pete

I'll give that a try, but if i remember correctly, there is steel between the inside panel and the window... But yes that would work nicely if it can be done from there. Thanks!

Yeah I forgot about that but you might be able to get around it some how from the inside and blast it out some how.

That option was a no-go. Couldn't reach far enough. How does one take off that part on the outside?

I wouldn't mess with the lower window trim, I had to take it off 3 times for my front door and every time they break. There is a clip and I guess you have to push it from inside the door, from the outside it breaks from a little lift. I wouldn't touch it.

That blows... well at least i won't have any problems with that regulator! I won't risk scratching the glass more by operating the window...

For all who have this problem (if there are any)...

Old t-shirt over a slim jim works like a champ!

The sand was there when i bought it. I didn't realize it until about a week afterwards.
