well im at a impass, im tottally perplexed as to what is wrong with my air ride, one day it stays up. but when im driving after about 20 minutes the check air ride system light comes on and the front goes down,,but not the rears . i like the versatility of the air ride, but i need it to work...so my question is do the strutmasters lower the vehicle any ? im looking for 1- 1 1/2 drop ..... any info will help, i want to get this done .. thanks

They don't make the lowered kits anymore. I'm pretty sure that cutting off one coil from the standard height kit gets you the "lowered" kit height, though.

Yeah, although I have no interest in giving up the air ride, I was pretty upset to hear that they were no longer being made.

I've got a set of strutmasters coils in the for sale section....

As far as I know, they're the standard height kit, though.

I was lucky enough to buy a new set from a local member for 300 about 3 months before they stopped selling the 1.5" kit..I felt lucky...

Just my two cents worth.. I've owned 3 Marks now, all of them getting Strutmasters kits. My first 94 I bought the lowered kit. Well, after some time on the springs, say 5k miles, they were no longer a 1.5" drop. It was closer to a 2.5" or more. These springs do compress some with time. My recommendation is to go ahead and just buy the regular height kit, and drive on it for a while. Then go have them lowered how much you want. Then they should stay put. The picture is of the 94 right before I sold it.

I was one of the last people to get the lowered kit from them and the picture above is exactly how mine sits now. Its been on for about 5 years now, i bottom out over every speed bump if i dont creep over them. The picture in my sig was just a few hours after i installed them.
