So if you've followed any of my recent exploits I've had an odd misfire.. so I took it to get the codes pulled and I got a misfire on 7... fine.. but I also got:
Ignition coil prim/second circuit malfunction
Well, I wasn't sure what that was all about so I checked the wells for water (previous post) it was all dry but I blew it out just to be sure and also switched around coils to see if a coil went bad. (The misfire code would retrigger in a new cylinder if so..) I'm assuming since they're not tied down it mightve shorted out the plug on the wire that plugs into the coil or maybe it jostled loose.. but I swapped coils around, tightened everything down and then reset the battery and codes and it idles fine cold in the rain today with no codes or troubles... sooooo does anyone think that that mightve been it?
