hey y'all. i got a 2000 lincoln LS 3.9L V8. My problem is at stop and go situations lets say you at a red light and you get the green to go, and you give gas the car takes of faster then the amount of pressure that i put on the pedal.Like a little push, Also if you are driving and you slowing down and you decide to pick up speed again. Now this happens all the time. My question is if this is normal, what could be the problem?

i'm not sure i understand...it almost sounds like you're complaining that it has too much power

the pressure i put on the gas pedal doesnt comply with the speed the car takes of at. it feels like a shove

lol. The gas pedal on these cars is very soft. Probably to cater to the old people they were intended for.

Actually, the LS was designed for the 35+ new executive type. It was supposed to compete with the 5-series.
