So i have my stock front sway bar off, and i am thinking of doing a few thing,

option#1: take and blast it and get it powder coated, however will having the bar at 400 degrees change the properties of it making it either brittle or less useful?

option #2 buying a new adco bar of a different size and put it on/ blast and powder coat it if no problems occur with it.

P.S. i do know that the bar is powder coated already, but there are different types of powder that go to different degrees, i have no clue however what degree these bars have been taken up to bake the powder. The powder i have at work goes at 325, powder i get my parts done in is 400 degrees. Just so everyone doesn't think i am completely retarted

If you get an ADDCO bar, they are already nicely powder coated.

Too bad Addco doesn't make a hollow one to save on weight... It sweet that we have these big bars... just too bad that they add about 100lbs to the car total.

Well, a hollow bar wouldn't be as stiff.

And, they're heavy, but not 50 lbs. each. ;)

Well i have the ability to powder coat them any color of my choice and i have a theme going on the car so i would actually rather have it a different color, maybe they will send me just an unfinished bar for me to powder coat, anyways, so what does everyone think about the heat, no issue?

ADDCO powder coats theirs, I don't see why you'd have an issue.
