stock stall speed

what is the stock stall speed on the 98 lsc? and at what point does it lock up or when you turn tc off is it in lock up?i was told a long time ago, if you hold your foot on the brake, then gas the point at which the tires overtake the brake (if any)is your stall speed. any takers?

1800 I thought I read is stock stall. Lock up is when the clutch inside the converter engages. Its done at the top of gears 3 and 4 for fuel economy. When there is slip power is wasted when locked no slip. Foot brake is not stall speed. What if you had same converter in a car with 4 drum brakes then same one in car with 4 huge discs all around that car would be able to hold more.

Yes the drum car would hold more.
