I had always heard people say that they weighed about 40 lbs each but when I cut mine off, I didn't feel 40 lbs there. Maybe about 20 lbs, 25 tops. One of the new Flowmaster 40's I have seems to weigh as much or more than one of the stock ones. Some of it may depend on how much one is stopped up also but I seriously didn't feel 40 lbs of weight when I chopped mine off.

the mufflers are light. the water that collects in the mufflers however, is very heavy. lol.

get some dynomax bullets and you wont have a problem with weight nor water getting stuck in them.

I believe ours do weigh 7.5 lbs each.

the reason I was even asking about the weight of our mufflers is because my friend was saying they weigh no more then 10lb's and I heard nore like 40lb's I guess I will have to wait till I get my income tax check to know for sure and what do you guys do with your old mufflers cause mine look good any Ideas?
