Let me go back and correct what I said.

It is true, that "video" clip you posted is completely dishonest.
NOT JUST because it takes a clip from January and inserts it, without context, into an ad from August. But because when you listen to McCain's COMPLETE answer, he's completely consistent!!! It takes a section of sentence completely out of context.

Watch that video, Nut, and then tell me where he was wrong.
Tell me if you think there's ANY inconsistency in his message!
And then YOU tell me whether the video YOU posted was honest.

No the Video isnt 100% honest.
But I do see a change in McCain's message.
In the Debate McCain clearly states over all we are better off, he makes it clear when the gay dude "Anderson" pushes the point at the end.
In the ad he changes his position to we are worse off then we were 4 years ago.

I but the Burden on both parties.
The economic problems stem from Legislation passed in 1999 that lifted many regulations over the financial industry... Phill Gramm R-Texas pushed it and it was signed by Pres. Clinton.

So by avoiding the topic, I presume your recognizing how DISHONEST the video you linked to was. You acknowledge that McCain WAS talking about the economic troubles that were taking place and coming, but that the person who edited the video you posted meant to mislead viewers.

And the deregulation WAS NOT the cause of the problem.
The deregulation lead to a condition that enabled the situation to worsen, but it wasn't the cause.

I'll make a bad analogy. If someone has small pox and then goes to a movie theater, everyone gets small pox. The movie theater isn't the cause of small pox outbreak in the population, it was the person with small pox who decided to go to a busy theater. The atmosphere of the theater caused the infection to spread faster, but it was not the cause.

The Democrats put the virus out there.
Inshort: Fannie and Freddy are Democrat government institutions. The risky lending was the result of Democrat policy. And the market for the risky loans made was the result of the perception that the Freddy and Fanny institutions would be fully insured by the government.

The reality is, this is NOT a 'both sides' issue.

Ultimately, we don't need more regulation.
What we need is FULL TRANSPARENCY.

Let the free markets operate, keep the government intervention out of it, but it needs to be done in the open.

It wasn't an issue of just not being 100% truthful.
It was 100% dishonest as I've demonstrated.

You're statement sharing blame between the two parties was wrong as well.

The better question is, why do you waste OUR time posting such nonsense.
