Make sure your basic maintenance is up to snuff - then get mods...

A chip is a good place to start

J-mod, 1-2 spring, 80mm MAF, Exhaust, tune. Click on the Lincolnmotorsport logo on the right of this screen. Geno has all you will need to get started.

full tune up (wires, plugs, air filter, full synthetic with a good anti-drainback oil filter, NO FRAM, fuel filter)-do a trans drain including the torque converter and refill with mercon 5, 1-2 and 2-3 accumulator, new trans filter-everyone on here loves the J-mod, I opted to do a TransGo shift kit and added a 24,000 GVW trans cooler after the radiator cooler-you might need to get airbags, everyone here has a preference, I got mine on Ebay and they were cheap and do not leak-the tune up and trans work, including the cooler, should cost around $250-$300 and if you do the labor, you'll save yourself about the same or more-

consider draining, flushing and refilling the radiator, do the thermostat with a 160 or 180 degree-hey, I changed from the standard 225-60/16's to 245-50/16's just cause I wanted to, double AA traction, feels like it's on rails--new drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads all around, drained the brake fluid and refilled with synthetic fluid-then do the cold air intake, take off the beauty cover (who needs that?), get a decent stereo with a good, dependable changer in the trunk (I got a JVC 12 disk and Love it)-could go on and on...we all could, I bet!
