Ive driven a fair share of marks in my day and my car seems to have a stiffer wheel. It's a lot harder to turn than other marks ive driven. Anyone know?
Well I can get both for pretty cheap... Ive replaced everything but the tie rods. Im thinking about trying those then looking at the rack and pump. It would suprise me to see a pump or rack go that early.
Try this. Next time you are under look at the top of the rack where the steering joint is. There is a "hat" that seals the rack but this hat slides. I had REALLY tight steering that eventually got to the point where is made sound at the steering wheel. Took me a while to figure it out. But I lifted the seal and put some silicone grease under it. Cured it right away.
when my upper ball joints wore out my steering got heavy to after replacing them it returned to normal I did see s service bulletin on it http://www.allworldauto.com/tsbs/ hope this helps
