stereo questions, stock to aftermarket, or anyone have a stock speaker to sell?

so i blew my drivers door speaker, so im thinking of putting my aftermarket deck, amp and some seperates in.
anyone know what size door speakers and decklid speakers this takes? 6x8 sound right?
how hard it is to install a deck....
i used to install professionally, but its been 5-6 years since ive touched stereo's. any tricks needed for wiring etc?

or for the time being, could i pull the deck lid speaker and throw it in my door to get me through the winter?
or does anyone have a drivers door (alpine system) speaker they'd want to get rid of....

if u switch out the door speakers you need plugs that are made for our harness. i think i bought mine at best buy for $15. i just brought in the stock speaker and they matched up the plugs with the speaker.

i have to look more into this, cause i think my pass. side of out to, so it may be the amp and i might end up just replacing everything. i found a nice deal on some alpine seperates.....

My rear deck speakers are 2 ohm. I don't know about the door but I would think they are 4 ohm. That's a big dam difference.
