My steering wheel vibrates at about 50+.. and when i apply the brakes the steering wheel moves from right to left.... i went to belle tire, got an alignment and balanced my wheels.... Problem still occurs, im thinking it has something to do with my rims, Has anyone ever used Hubcentric rings? do you think this will solve my problem?

No. I've run non-hubcentric wheels on my SHO for years. If they're bolted up tight they're not going to get any "rounder" with hub rings.

They either didn't balance the tires right (again) or you have a bad belt or perhaps a bent wheel. First thing I'd do is move the front wheels to the back and see if the steering wheel shake goes away.

You may also have warped rotors. If it gets worse when you put your foot on the brake, that's a sure sign of warped front rotors.

Might be the rotors, but I had some shaking too on with my 20s before my tire guy had them make some hub centrics for me. They made it from copper and now I have no shakes. This solved the problem.

Also, on my Mercury I have 18s with no hubs, but the wheel doesn't shake.

I recommend both. rings are like twenty bucks, and you should be able to get the whole set of rotors for about 100 or so bucks if you look around.

I'll bet you have the infamous front tire "nibble". Lincoln has some published literature on this. Good luck getting rid of it...it's very difficult.
