Steering wheel controls

Hi all,
Im about to purchase the sony xav-64bt unit and an axxess aswc. I've heard some horror stories about how much of a PITA it is to get the steering wheel controls working. So, just curious what your thoughts were. How hard is it to install? Did you run into any problems?

I used the Metra ASWC and after hooking it up I had to reset it for it to find the car, but it's been working perfect ever since.

Not sure if there's a diff.

Good to hear. The metra aswc is the same as the axxess aswc. Its full name is metra axxess aswc. Thanks pureevil!

That one worked perfectly for me and there is no programming involved.
