my ls is turning over and starting most of the time but it seems like it struggles. I have to charge my battery up once every 2 weeks since it dies. The charging system checks out okay and I have 12.8 volts on the battery. Its just starting the car seems to drain it I guess? Someone said maybe its my cold cranking amps and i should get a new battery.

So what do you guys think????

i also just took off the ground to the car and it broke the screw so i moved it over to the battery hold down. maybe i had a bad ground and it ruined the battery?

Did this start happening after you moved the ground cable?

You should always have one ground (or more) running straight to the engine block. Those motor mounts aren't all that good of electrical conductors.

Also, voltage is not always a good indicative of a good battery. Take it to a battery shop and have them load test it. That will tell you how many amps the battery is capable of delivering at that time.

similar to mine but mine has never not wanted to start on me. with that being said are there any ridiculous power draws like enormous wattage subwoofers or unnecessary screens? seems like my car struggles harder than it used to.

nice cars that dont work arent so nice anymore

the car had this problem before i moved the ground. moving the ground was because well the screw broke off inside the ground location. i do have a system but it was installed after i had this problem and it didnt change anything.

ground to the engine? the factory doesnt do that. do alot of people do this?

i did have the battery tested and the guy said the battery volts are fine but something about the cold cranking amps were off but he wasnt 100% the problem was my battery. he tried to sell me a battery anyway which i would've bought but not if its not going to fix my problem - just want to be sure its the battery before i blow $100.

charged it again last night and now i bring a portable car charger with me in case it wont start somewhere. this is ghetto

does anyone have a manual? i could run some tests to locate my problem
