K so its spring here weather is slightly getting warmer.... still kinda chilly at night. So anyways i went to go turn my ls up and it would crank but not turnover... then i just gave it some gas. It seem to hesitate until i gave it some gas then it turned over. You think its a spark plug or something....? Like it was cranking..just couldn't turn over...it needed some gas...Then it turned over and ran just fine. Now i left the car for a couple hours and it turns on just fine...now......Never had this problem before. It happened over night... I was guessing because of the changing weather on how its warm during the day and cold during night..... I dunno what you guys think?

Might be because of an incorrect offset on your 20's...:shifty:

:D

honestly, my car has done that a few times as well. Don't know what it's from. I need to do some simple maintenance though, like changing plugs and fuel filter. After that I'll see if it has any problems.

Yeah its like so weird..... is it hard changing the plugs on this car... i know for my eclipse its super easy. Is there like a how to guide around here...

Mine has done that about 3 times in the past year, very random. And the car is only a 2006! :shifty: Must be going through the Terrible Two's. :D

Happen to me once and it has been 1 year..... so i guess this is very random.... i guess i'll change the spark plugs see if that helps.... thanks alot of the help guys.

So for the v6 i have to remove the intake in order to get access too the spark plugs.... is it complex or fairly simple i know for my eclipse it was super easy because it was easy access.

So guessing by the comments this is a common thing and nothing to worry about. Also what would you recommend changing that spark plugs, fuel filter?

I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a common occurence.
Mine's done that a few times in the past year that I've owned it. My Cadillac did the same thing several times in the 2 years that I owned that. My sisters Toyota has done that before as well.

If the fuel filter hasn't been changed in the last year or two it would be a good idea to change it as part of regular PM.

remove the front driver's wheel and wheel well. Fuel filter is right up against the firewall.

I could have sworn there was a write up in the tech section about how to do that.

It is really easy though. Just make sure you put the new filter in the right way. The arrow should point in the direction of the fuel flow.

Its been a few months since I did mine, IIRC you don't even need fuel line quick disconnect pliers.

Its not from a lack of fuel its from a overrich condiction in the combustion camber. there is a TSB from ford. there is a problem with the injectors sticking open while the car is off and filling the motor up with fuel, so the next time you go to start it it is flooded. the reason it clears up when you give it gas is because your adding more air.
I think this is the problem your having. this is the problem i'm having, i'm just too lazy to take the doil covers off and pull the plugs to see which cylinder its happening in.

LS acting crazy

Ok so i get into my car, it turn the key it turns over but then it dies, and it keeps doing it. I try it again and give it gas, as long as i keep the pedal to the floor, it hesitates but it keeps running. My power brakes dont work, and my service e-brake light is one. Can anyone help me?

I guess you guys are right my problem went away i guess it just happens once and awhile..
