Starter?

Went out to start my car this morning to hear this lovely sound as I turned the key.

The fact that the sound goes away right after the engine turns over has lead me to believe my starter is about to crap out on me. Not too sure what else it could be.

Anyone able to confirm or have any other ideas?

maybe its those dirty floor boards....

yep, sounds like a hanging starter to me...

Yeah yeah yeah, I vacuumed like 2 weeks ago. I've just been keeping my windows down a lot lately.

Thanks though, couldn't really find anything from searching. Did find some videos of other vehicles making similar noises on Youtube though.

Atleast you have a warning. Last year i left my gf's house and made a quick stop to get a bite to eat, on to start my car... nothing. Had to walk a mile to get home that night and it wasn't pretty lol.
