Standard brand IAC

Well my car was acting a little funny 5 min into my trip to work today while at idle, but fixed itself after a min or 2. Figured it to be the iac acting up. Sitting idle, rpm's fluctuate almost to the point of dieing. No cel.

Anywho, rockauto has a standard brand iac for about 30 bucks shipped. I'm assuming it comes w/o gasket. The same one w/ gasket is closer to 50 shipped. I've checked the gasket and it appears fine.

Question is has anybody used them?

i would only use oem but not like they are hard to change if
it goes bad

I got the Airtex/Wells one, and it did come with the gasket. Have yet to install it because I am rebuilding the engine. So, I couldn't tell you how it functioned. =/

If it's the same manufacturer as orielly then don't get it. Mine went bad in a year.

Thanks guys. Havn't had a problem since. I'll prob just pic one up at a ap store when/if it ever dies.

Gen 2...who cares, autozone, pepboys, airtex/wells, standard, ac delco. Gen 1.... Motorcraft if possible.
