These were going to be used for my lifting amp rack, but I didn't think they were strong enough... So I ended up changing them out for some 60 psi's one that are working very good. These are made out of Stainless Steel and are 30 psi... All I had to do was unscrew the old top off of the old lift, and screw it on the new cylinder. I had to cross-thread it on there, but it is very strong.. The new ones just pop right on there, a very easy mod. The ball joint is a 10mm ball on the bottom part, I'm not sure what the top is. Alot of these cylinders are already threaded so you can mix and match the ends. I'm not sure why ford used two different size ball joint end, but it works great anyhow. :Beer
