ok i know that this has been covered because i read about it and even saved it on my computer. now i can not find it anywhere but to the point.

if i remember correctly all i need to do on my 04 v6 to have the sst shift is buy the cover and put it on because it has the same trans as the cars with it. thanks and dont tell me to search it because i have already for hours thanks

I have SST on my '05 with the V6. Took about an hour to install with the great help from the gang at LLSOc garage meet we had. I like it alot. THe dashboard screeen reads SST1 when engaged. and it shifts great. I did notice that it seems to shift smoother when I disengage the Traction control on the center console. But that is my seat of the pants feel for it.
