Has anyone ever had their seats squeak? Mine are doing it and it is bugging the hell out of me. It seems to be in the back.

Mine don't squeak ever, but are you talking about them squeaking as you move them or as you go over a bump or...?

Lol, sounds like a pretty stupid problem to have .. I don't think anything back there should squeak. Maybe check the nuts holding the rear of the front seat maybe your drivers seat is loose?. Lol just a thought.

Maybe it's one of your rear shock mounts going bad?.

Check your weatherstrip towards the rear of your door jambs?. Maybe it's squeaking against the door and sounds like it's from the rear.

I'm not familiar with Gen 2 side panels, but if you have rear ash trays maybe check those..

Maybe run some leather conditioner (Malco if poss.) between where the bottom and top half of your rear seat meets.

squeaks and rattles are hard to locate sometimes. There really shouldn't be that many possibilities for a squeak..

i know this may sound stupid... are you saying it squeeks when u sit like as in just getting in ur seat?or it only through out the whole ride while drivin that ur squeekin?

hmm me too i notice a squeek or 2,but all i do is turn up the vol on my radio, you may have to check ur dash, and panels too-may have to tighen them up.it comes with age unfortunatly..i know with mine my dash seems to not bounce around over bumps but,im getting some noise from that area and my panels...sheesh looks like the town has to get their a$$ off the chairs and start fixin the roads cause my car is suffering too in a way.!!!

also does the front seats have any springs anywhere from under the foam?just wondering.

check the bolts that attach the seat to the floor, if they are loose just a little it will squeek like hell. for checking trim panel squeeks, get a can of silicone spray and just spray a little where 2 pieces meet/or contact a seal/have metal to metal contact, to isolate where the noise is coming from, and continue on from there. happy hunting :)

My seats are squeaking as i adjust my body in the seat. As I am sitting, and I move my back in a forward and backward motion the seat squeals. None of the bolts or the tracks squeal. That was the first thing I thought of. Very strange. The seatback has springs. I can't get to them without taking off the leather.
