Sprint Srings for LS6 discontinued, will LS8s work in LS6s ??

Ok, Ive been trying to buy Sprint Springs for my LS6 and nobody has any left, Ive called a bunch of online stores and nothing.
Now, I know the rear struts part number is the same for LS6 and LS8 so they should work. About the fronts, I dont know what the difference, if any, would be.
Now IF, they are not the same, how could they be fitted in the LS6 Struts??

the only difference that i ould think of would be the extra weight of the V8, if there is a difference your front could sit a little higher, do all of the other companies list different part numbers for their springs?

I dont know man.. but I thought the same as the SS for LS6 lower the ride 1.5 and the V8 1.75. The first thing I thought was the weight, but what Im worried about is where the spring ends may not match with the strut, I may need to cut them a bit so the end of the spring will sit where it should.

As a clue, Intrax sells a lowering kit that fits both V6s and V8s. If they fit both, Sprints and Eibachs would too.
