sprint lowering kit vs eibach

I have the sprint springs with 20's I like them alot. Let me know if you have any ? Look at my pics from cardomain let me know what you think?

I have Eibach Springs pro-kit. It dropped my LS 1.75 inches. I have 19's 245/35/19 Dunlops. The car handles great. You can checkout my Cardomain page or look at my sig. What do you think?

maybe there's more than one kit for eibach?
any of the dropped rides have a straight on side view so maybe we could set up a 1.75 vs 1 inch drop comparison?

Check the pictures in my gallery. I might have some side pics of my car with the Pro-Kit and stock wheels/tires. There's also some in the "Post your LS" thread.

hm.... still up in the air the 1.75 is a little lower than i like but it seems like the eibach you can notice that the rear is lower than the front...

I have a 1.75" drop and I had to go to 3 different oil change places before I could find one to be able to get my car into their oil change bay. My car sits VERY low with that drop. One more thing for you to consider.

i do my own oil changes so that's not a big deal to me.... and i hjave to say honestly 02V8 your LSs is probably one of my favorites on here so i'd be leaning more toward the 1.75 at this time. from those that have the 1.0/1.1 eibachs is there a noticeable difference between front and rear or is that just something i'm imagining or due to the picture?

hmmmmmmmmmmm.. i wouldn't mind my front sitting a little lower to give it a nice aggressive stance.. musta been a picture of your car accellerating or something?

I know I had a couple pictures from track events in the gallery of me launching the car, so that could be it...?

Thank you. I am going to run some fatter tires on my 18's this summer to get the car higher off the ground. I was going to run 285/35/18 in the rear but it wont be much of a difference to the 275/35 Im running now. So Im looking for 275/40's now for the rear and 255/40's in the front to raise the car up off the ground a bit.

nyc - probably i was looking at your gallery i didnt check the post your LS thread.. so
LS02 - what size rims are you running now? rims are going to be last of the last for me, if they get done at all, going performance upgrades first (waiting til feb for the new intake kit), probably springs at that time too, then lights (angel eyes), then tint, then some body work (maybe just the mach 1 lip we'll see..) then rims.. but i like yours a lot i think this weekend i'm picking up the V8 trim logos.. can i pick those up at a dealer rather than online cuz $8 shipping seems a bit steep. then with the tax refund probably getting springs.
i'm going for more of a muscular cruiser look rather than a luxury blingy rider.. and i'm open for suggestions

The drop on my V6 manual with the Eibachs was pretty close to 1.5" or slightly more. They always seem to exceed that drop height on the LS, but it may vary by vehicle type, since not all V6 and V8 models weight the same, and the spring kit has no variants, it's one size fits all.

Don't try to go slow over speed bumps with these springs. I usually go fast over them, to not allow the car to jounce downward after the front wheels creep over the bumps, but one day, seeing what looked like a mega-speedbump, I crept over it and good god, you want to hear a horrible noise, something under the car slammed down on that bump so hard and scraped it, I nearly crapped. I won't be doing that any longer.

But yeah, most folks with the pro-kit from Eibach have noted a good deal more droppage than the advertised amount.

I have 18x9.5 in the rear and 18x8 in the front with my one set of wheels and 19x8 all around with my second set of wheels.

You should be able to get the V8 badges from the Ford dealer, they are off of the 02+ V8 Explorer.
