I'm looking at a set of used 18" Sport Edition A7 wheels with Michelin Pilot Alpin snow tires. They supposedly came off a Jaguar and have only been used a month. They are asking $950.

I went on tirerack and priced out that combo and it came to around $1400. The wheels aren't the nicest in the world but for 950 it might be worth it just for the tires.

Opinions?

Would I need hub centric rings for these??

link didnt work but here is a picture of what the wheels look like if any one is wondering

Yo fast it's not to late ya know you could still get those daisy rims in the link.
:hump:

$950 seems pretty steep for winter wheels. It may be decent when you consider the value of the tires, but then you are stuck getting 18" snow tires when these wear out, which is doubly expensive. Unless you do not intend to use the winter tires, in which case you need to think about how much you can sell them for and with how much hassle.

I agree you could just get all season tires put on for less.

50 at least? And with the SC you'd be laughing.... Along with everyone else.

And while you at it get bigger fuel injectors and raise the engine displacement to 4.1L

I think it would alot like being an angel... Frolicking in the flowers in the forest.

Fondling my LS while frolicking with the flowers in the forest.

I've got F7 Sport Edition wheels on my car with Conti winter tires. The paint on them sucks badly. Very hard to clean and very thin. Looks to be the same finish on the A7's ...
Tire Rack should send rings with them. They did with mine even though I never even asked about them. They clip into the SE wheels which is nice though...
