Spare tire?

I'm supposing I cant put a REAL 17 inch rim in the trunk where the goofy A** excuse for a spare tire is, right? I'd like to be able to buy a spare chrome 5 spoke just to match the rims of the car. If I'm wrong someone correct me!!

mine came with a full size spare. so yes a full size will fit in the trunk. i have an 00 ls8 and i dont think the trunk was changed at all.

I have a full size 17" spare as well, So yes a 17" spare should fit...
