Talked with a guy I found listing on Craigslist, for 3 weeks now, about going to his place and pull apart 2 2000 LS's. It is a 4 hr drive one way. Made plans for Saturday. Got up early (5 AM) and was getting ready to go so I text'd him to let him know I was on my way. No answer. Waited for an hr, text again. No answer. No answer the whole weekend! Look, if you place an ad make sure you are serious about it. :mad:
 
Sounds like seller's remorse. Sucks regardless. But at least you called before driving for nothing. Excellent save!!!! LOL
 
yeah last year I was gonna get some parts off an LS. The lady told me she had to talk to her husband and he would call me back. He never called then I call her another day and she says the same thing again and again no call back. Then she just stopped answering.

ha, thats funny, this happened exactly to me, you remember the town it was in?
 
I was talking to a guy parting out an 01 LS about the FEM, high beams & fogs aren't working now. I offered him $50 and asked him if I could try it in my car first to confirm my FEM went bad. He went ape :q:q:q:q on me. Told me he wasn't ripping apart his car for me to tell him nevermind if it didn't work, and neither would a junkyard. I bet he would've let me try it if I offered him half the $550 the dealer wants for a new one!

Well it looks orange and I have a soft spot for orange lol. But that is way too much for a 2002 no matter what engine it has and it doesn't have any info but it comes "fully extra loaded" lmao.

Looks nice but the seller obviously has no idea what they are talking about lol. I would offer 9k for it if it was local and if I wasn't jobless atm lol.

I believe they had second thoughts about parting it out. A callback woulda been nice though.
