They only come in one offset, 49 iIrc. Depending on the tire size you may rub after the springs settle. On stock springs I'm not rubbing on 245/35 tires, which is expected.

Read one of the fresh stickies Bull posted regarding wheel and tire stuff it's pretty in depth.

Yeah, I've read that. FANTASTIC article for sure. Well, I'm not too worried about it because I've literally only filled my car once, and thats usually to go disc golfing which isnt a far drive. Also, I probably wont be getting Sentas for awhile so its whatever haha

The general lower is like 1.5" without a cut if I remember correctly.
I got closer to 1.75"

Maybe my LS is heavier haha...how much heavier are fully equipped LSes than the base ones? can't be that much to cause the difference, can it?

Are there issues with rubbing when carrying a total of 4 people? As in at highway speeds if you hit a dip? I travel at times with a full load and the sound of rubbing would drive me crazy.
I think you would get quite a bit of rubbing. I rubbed with my sentas with a 245/35 tire at highway speeds by myself in the car and i'm at about 180ish lbs so i don't think that was the issue...hopefully lol

Depends on wheel offset and width. I experience absolutely no rubbing with my Tucana wheels (50mm offset, 18x8.5), but regular rubbing with my old Voxx wheels (40mm offset, 18x8). I didn't get any rub from my last wheels, either (still for sale, by the way). They are MB GTR wheels, 18x7.5 with a 45mm offset. Tires on all wheels were 245/45/18. I am now sucessfully running a 255/40/18 tire on the Tucanas.

ahemmm you mean 49mm offset :D

And can you get some close up pics of the tucanas with your 255/40's? Thats the size i wanted to run...if i had kept them longer lol

ooh

Ahhhhhhhhh....... What's 1mm betwen friends? :p

Sure, but it may take a day or two......

Maybe you could try and find a salvage STR. Then you would able to use the whole STR setup. IIRC you'd have to swap the whole suspension subframe assembly from the 03-up STR (02-up in the U.K.). There was a front suspension change/upgrade to the S-Type gen2 where they changed the geometry & A-arms somewhat. You would also be able to use the Brembo brake setup too. Better geometry, better braking, better suspension...PAPA JOHN'S. LOL!:D
